A day-long camp for girls in grade 7 to 10 who are interested in learning about engineering at uWindsor. It includes the chance to listen to guest speakers, meet women who are currently in engineering and participate in hands-on activities.

A day-long camp for Windsor and Essex County Girl Guide troops who are interested in earning three engineering and science badges while exploring both fields through hands-on activities.

GO Code Girl

Highschool Outreach Program

A day-long camp for girls in grade 7 to 10 who are interested in learning about coding. It allows girls to learn to code, and to inspire them to pursue a career in technology.

UWindsor Science Olympiad

Schools may register up to two teams of six students. Individual events include: Environmental Science,
Forensics, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science.

Let's Talk Science Outreach

Highschool Outreach Program

The Let’s Talk Science Challenge is a team-based, competitive enrichment event for Grades 6-8 students.
This free, fun-filled program encourages students to build their team skills, interact with relevant role models and test their abilities against peers. The Challenge includes an exciting question and answer competition, an interactive, hands-on design challenge, guest speakers and more! It inspires students to acquire science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) knowledge beyond their curriculum.

Engineering Summer Camp

Outreach Program

Children ages 8 to 12 take part in hands-on engineering activities. Participants will be introduced to a variety of engineering related concepts, including aerodynamics, forces and motion, fluid dynamics, material strength, and the design process. There is an educational half-day session with outdoor activities and swimming at the St. Denis Centre. Two sessions available.

Laurier’s Biology Association (LBA)

University Student Club: Science

The LBA’s goal is to give a sense of unity for all Biology students and faculty regarding science-based faculties. They provide a supportive and active community for students who are associated in biological sciences or just a biology enthusiast. They value both academic and non-academic aspects of university life and cater to those aspects throughout the year.

WLU Habitat for humanity

University Student Club: STEM

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profitable organization which aims to give low income individuals and families the opportunity to have a place to call home. The goal is to recruit volunteers to help build and rehabilitate safe, decent and affordable homes.

University Student Club: STEM

This club is made for those who are interested in computer science, physics, and mathematics. It is a non-profit basis in which they believe that the exchange of scientific knowledge should be based on an open and free platform. The club consists of future scholars and scientists aiming to serve the Laurier campus by sharing knowledge and resources.

This club is an online community open to college women. The Her Campus is essentially a hub for letting college women know about what is going on today-- offering content on style, health, love, life, and careers.
